The ricette are quite easy, on google you find plenty, but let me give you what i believe are the key details that in my opinion makes it better:
ragu (what people abroad call bolognese): you always start with onion, carrots, celery. no exceptions. For every 500gr of beef mince, I like to add...
I assume mainly for two reasons:
1) negativity bias: you see only complains, because happy people don't bother as much to publicly express their view, since they are happy with the status quo
2) at the tails of the distribution curve, you have less density of players, there is nothing anyone can...
I am at the 1.3k/1.4k elo bucket (2k TG), and over here the 1v1 and also the TG queues are very good (1v1 more so than TG). Waiting time never more than 2/3 minutes, opponents always within 50 elo points from me (which basically means very even match).
Also, in TGs I almost never see the alt+F4...
So I might have a chance to convince a company to sponsor an aoe2 S-tier tournaments (just because I like watching tourneys, one more is better than one less).
However their business is only relevant for people resident in EU countries.

aoe2 is probably my favourite game. However one of the aspects I dislike is that a lot of dull execution is required to improve your game. I do not get any satisfaction from the micro aspect of the game, but i love the decision making and macro aspects of it.
If I had to draw a parallel with...
Reduced gather rate on resources or increased cost of everything. That is the best approache because the handicap is working for the whole game irrespective of the strategy used.
Noobs do not usually rush or they are not good at rushing any any handicap at the start of the game (like less...

wow, you took my idea (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=111660&start=10#p422039).
That is great, now I really want to see this tournament.
You are welcome. What do I get for this? :D Choose a map to put in the pack?
Very good, looking forward to it.
Let me share an idea that I always had about civ pick rules that I think fits perfectly with round robin.
The idea is very simple: always hidden civ, but a player cannot play with the same civ twice until he has played all civs of the game.
Definitely the albs are the natural counter to paladins, and someone should always prefer that option.
However I wanted to understand if I can engage in that fight or if it is a fight to escape from when possible.
