People in the Chinese community are saying that lately he's been playing PUBG 11 hours a day. Though I guess here in AoEZone people would say that it's nothing serious compared to playing AoE4 for more than one hour, which is the ultimate betrayal to AoE2 and the most heinous crime that a human being could possibly commit. Can't be, Mr.Yo must have been playing AoE4 too much. There is no different explanation.
They are criticizing him for his strategies and apparent lack of preparation but no outright personal attacks as far as I can see. They are also lamenting the impending doom of AoE2 since most of them seem to see KotD4 as the last big tournament of AoE2 before everyone turns to AoE4 and now Yo, the only Chinese player left, is out.I hope the Chinese community arent toxic with Mr Yo. He is an extraordinary player! and was a awasome series vs Vinchester!
Ty AOE II! <3
If the official announcement about an individual streamer being employed by Microsoft in an official tournament coordinate role is made on that individual's personal media accounts then the line between the individual's two roles is necessarily blurred because their personal accounts are being used in service of their official capacity. When someone is hired on a company and that is announced officially in professional setting, it is always presented as news from the company rather than news from the individual, even if the individual is the one responsible for speaking the words or writing the sentences that constitute the announcement. I'm not sure if the video clip I saw of Nili sharing this information was meant to be the official announcement or not but if that was the first exposure many people had to the news (due to something like maybe a poorly publicized actual official announcement somewhere) then it is understandable that those people may be left with the impression there is not a completely clear distinction to be made between the two roles. What do you mean :D Should he announce it on a separate youtube channel? The place where it is announce literally has nothing to do with this. Or do you think you talk in terms of your job to your friends just because you told it to them in private? There is a clear distinction to make and I'm not sure what going on as in why people aren't able to understand that.
Maybe one of the Meso civs can have have a UT that allows them to make Xolotls. That way they're not forced to convert stables first which is such a rare occurrence that we almost never see it. Like maybe for Aztecs and in place of Atlatl. These units should have at least 3 pierce armour, it's so hard to produce them xD
Since T90 left, Dave took over Nili on viewer numbers decisively. I hope Memb can break 20K next satuday and 30K on finals.
Yeah that was my prediction. Dave has the the English, the charisma, the exposure (through T90). All he needs is to put in the work and he can become the next T90 on Twitch.
I guess this comes from him only co-casting in the past. Iirc it wasn't long ago when he even said that he doesn't cast on his own channel because that is not what he wants to be known for or that viewer don't come to his channel expecting casts. Something along those lines.Really glad Dave has once and for all shown that he is not (only or primarily) "the best co-caster" (I always found that moniker a little demeaning), but rather a top caster himself.
Yes, he quit his job a few months ago.
Just before RBW5 iirc. They denied his request for days off to travel to Germany.
